LARADON HALL
In 1948, Laradon Hall was opened as the first
school for children with developmental disabilities in the Rocky
Mountain Region. Serving adolescents dually diagnosed with a
developmental disability and a psychiatric disorder, the school
continues to be the only one of its type in the Rocky Mountain
Region. Throughout its history, the school program has evolved and
expanded, and has even been housed in various locations on
Laradon's campus. In November, 1997, Laradon moved into a new
facility - the Robert R. Wilson Education Center. For more
information on Laradon's programs, please call 303-296-2400,
or ... Travel to our Laradon Hall Page,
or ... Visit their website at http://www.laradon.org.
Due to changing in the tax laws and implementation
of managed care, Laradon Hall is facing a serious cut back
in funding. They need our help. Contact your elected
officials to express your concern for the future of the essential
services provided by Laradon Hall.
